centricle : css filters (css hacks): "Will the browser apply the rule(s)?"That's just the question of the day. Thanks to the gracious host at centricle for posting this interactive matrix of unusual approaches to css. Some call it "hacks" and other's call it "filters". I'd be less inclined to use the former only because you really don't want people to think "hacking" when they think "css".
